A Spaghetti Worm, or Terebellid Worm (Thelepus), tendrils or tentacles can be seen coming out of a crevice, tucked behind a red and a white Sea Cucumber (Cucumaria). The segmented body of the worm is about 6" long. It wedges itself into the crevice. The spaghetti worm is a Terebellidae, a marine family of polychaete worms.
This image was made in Nanaimo, British Columbia, Canada, and they live along the entire Pacific.
A Green Sea Urchin (Strongylocentrotus droebachiensis) sits on the upper boulder nearby.
