A fit and trim young adult brown bear, or grizzly, strides down from the forest to the stream and searches for salmon. His muscular build was evident and not hidden by heavy fall fur. Brown Bears are predators and are a control factor of their prey species. They also have an important role in the ecosystem by dispersing seeds and salmon byproduct into the wildlands where they live.
