Hering Gull and Egg Nest DSC_1497DY

A Herring Gull cries in objection to my proximity, but they are very tolerant of human presence and are increasing due to that tolerance. The Herring gulls (Larus argentatus)are medium sized gulls, and so must nest at mid-level on the rocky shores of New England.
