Add to Lightbox DownloadThese are Amaroucium pellucidum Tunicates covering a solitary Tunicate, exposing only its two siphons. The upper section of the photo shows the translusent Diplosoma listerianum Tunicate colony which is a foreign species. Tunicates feed by taking in water and then expelling it while trapping nutrients inside. This was taken at night.
