A wild stallion imposes himself on a mare in heat with a nose-to-nose confrontation on Assateague Island, Maryland, USA. The wild horses on Assateague National Wildlife Refuge are monitored and while allowed to roam and form family groups, they are allowed only one birth in their life. Rangers utilize birth control darts to prevent future pregnancies.
