The wild horses of Chincoteague, Virginia are a managed herd of horses which have been living free on the island since Colonial times. Horses, like many animals, form friendships and tight bonds, as expressed here. "Wild Horse Friends" of Chincoteague, Virginia is included in the Wickford Art Associations limited Edition: "Poetry and Art 2019".
