Hairy Hydroids on Sponge _TP Bonaire .TIF

Hairy Hydroids on a tube sponge caught my attention on the Bonaire Town Pier. There was so much life on the pilings I saw very little of the entire site. hydroids are invertebrates in the class Hydrozoa (phylum Cnidaria). Even when this pre-digital photograph was taken, special advanced permission was required. This was captured on a night dive, when the pier was not busy.
