This image of a water lily underwater was accepted into the prestigious Plymouth Art Center, MA. show "The Art of Photography" 2022 where it won 2nd place. This was a challenging image to capture due to the shallow and murky habitat these fragrant waterlilies inhabit. It always amazes me how such a delicate and pure flower rises from dark waters. Yet I managed to capture soft and complementary colors evoking a quiet mood. I also received an International Color Awards Nomination for this image.
