Myxicola infundibulum is commonly called Slime worm, but when its feathery radioles and cirri are exposed while filter feeding, it's translucent and lovely. Highly Sensitive, they retract in a flash. I have observed these marine worms at Little Duck Island, Bass Rocks and Eastport, Maine, USA. They are a cold-water species on both USA coasts. Myxicola infundibulum is a polychaete worm from the family Sabellidae.
