Add to Lightbox DownloadA pair of American Horseshoe Crabs (Limulus polyphemus) have been temporarily buried, trapped in the sand, while mating in Delaware Bay, USA. The male on top is wagging his telson, or tail, in an attempt to move. They will have to wait for the incoming tide to return to sea.
