Solitary Sandpiper (Tringa solitaria) catches a dragonfly nymph from the edge of King's Pond in Raynham, Massachusetts, USA. The tawny brown bird, with white speckled spots and a white belly, forages among the algae for tasty arthropods. The draught has lowered the water level and wading birds were frequenting the mud flats.
