Fog on Johnsons Pond JMC_8545VAS2
Add to LightboxIn the fall, the days can be hot and the nights, cold. So in the morning, as the sun comes up, the ponds create a fog of condensation. It's all about the dewpoint. As I watched this over a period of an hour, it was like magic. It reminds me of the hot springs in Yellowstone, but this happens all over temperate climates where there are ponds and lakes.
