Sea horses swim slowly in an upright position as seen here. The male Seahorse incubates the eggs in an egg pouch in the lower abdomen. The fry will come and go for a while. These Lined Seahorses (Hippocampus erectus) live from southern Canada to the gulf of Mexico.
