Add to LightboxA Greater Yellowlegs stands on the top of wave worn Thrombolites in Newfoundland, Canada. When I consider the yellow legs of this wading shorebird (Tringa0, I notice the same color is repeated in the rock weed (Fucus) which suggests to me a disguise afforded the predator bird.
