Add to LightboxLittle Grunt Sculpins (Rhamphocottus richardsoni) have a dependence on the empty large Acorn barnacles within they hide with tail out, simulating the cirri of the barnacles. They are striped, or barred, like a tiger and with red fins and tail. This Grunt Sculpin, about 3" long, is shown with two Red Flabellina Nudibranchs (Flabellina triophina) nearby.
