A pair of Baltimore Orioles (Icterus galbula) are perched on a branch in the springtime in Massachusetts, USA. Baltimore Orioles (Icterus galbula) prefer deciduous woodlands and are noted to nest in willow trees in particular, but not exclusively. These two have just returned from their wintering grounds in the southern gulf of the USA and beyond. They migrate south early, usually in July.
