Tepee River's Clear Water, Idaho JMC_8682ASC4x5

How often do you see a riverbed clear to the bottom like this wild scenery in the National Forest of Idaho, USA? While trying to take a direct route east to Glacier National Park from Coeur D'Alene, we selected a NF route which the little Sprinter was ill equipped for. Hours later we had to turn around about halfway due to an ever-narrowing gravel road by this impressively clean stream. Fishermen and drifters on tubes were interspersed along the way, enjoying the recreation and seclusion this remote place of beauty offers.
