Bonaire underwater Fire Worm ©JMC'10_681JrC2-giga-2_00x
Add to LightboxA green Bristle Worm has ventured out at night on an orange sponge. It quickly turns and hides after I take a single photograph. Bristle tufts line each side of the marine animal, stemming from each segment. Polychaeta is Greek word meaning “many bristles” or “many hairs”. They are a "touch-me-not" animal, causing irritation to our skin, but they are very pretty to look at.
