Acadian Hermit Crabs Challenged UWNE

After a series of repeated movements and claw taps, a female Hermit Crab extends her tail almost entirely out of her shell, exposing eggs for fertilization (assumed). Part of series. A male Acadian Hermit Crab wards off another male intruder attracted to his female. Observed at Folly Cove, Rockport, Massachusetts, USA in July.
