Stony Coral (Astrangia poculata), RI ©JMacCausland_DSC_6605FL
Add to LightboxUnlike star corals in near the equator which form huge boulder-like mounds, these ivory-colored Northern Star Coral (Astrangia poculata) form colonies of only several inches across. Still, they are lovely and establish themselves in high current areas.
