Bull Kelp has a ball-shaped air bladder which holds the sun-loving leaf blades on the surface of the ocean. The milky white Hooded nudibranchs often climb up the stems to be near the top as shown here. The loden green of the kelp against the blue water with the white nudibranchs makes an earthy color combination in this image.
