Stoney Coral Head, Maldives UW ©JMC_757V

A stony coral head (Acropora) supports Yellow & Pink soft Corals (Alcyonaria). The vertical picture paints a beautiful scene of pastels and bright colors against the blue seawater of the Indo-Pacific. One of my favorites, it decorates my wall at home. It was made at the edge of the reef drop-off, and while very stable, appears to lean against a fall.
