Canada Geese DSC7915

Baby Canada geese (Branta canadensis), called goslings, keep close to each other in the rainy spring weather. They favor lawns where the grass is kept cut and new, tender spears are plentiful. The mother goose hisses as I come close, a warning to come not closer, while the daddy watches over them.
