Add to LightboxA brown Grizzly Bear lops down a mountain trail in Yellowstone National Park. As it approached we could see this bear had a tracking collar in place, and avoided our gaze, not wanting to engage with us. The mountain here, Mount Washburn, has a modest elevation of 10,223 feet (3,116 m), and is part of the Rocky Mountain range of Montana. Wild life will often make use of human trails for ease of walking.
