Jonah Crab & Snail Fur

A Jonah Crab (Cancer Borealis), or Northern Crab, is similar in appearance to the Atlantic Rock Crab (Cancer irroratus) but has thicker claws and is generally rounder and bulkier. There are some other subtle differences in the shell shape. Jonahs are also found in deeper water. This crab is buried in the sand enough so that it would be camouflaged from above. They are edible and choice, but a lot of picky work.
