Add to LightboxA Red or strawberry Hind (Epinephelus guttatus) is a grouper that can reach the maximum of 30" in length. They are native to the Western Atlantic Ocean, including Florida. Like some other fishes, Red Hinds are protogynous hermaphrodites, changing sex during their lifetime. They feed largely on arthropods.
