Two beautifully carved and painted Totem Poles can be viewed in the center of Petersburg, Alaska. This is the Orca, or Killer whale totem, a symbol of strength. It is distinguished by the straight dorsal fin and teeth. But more obvious is the blow hole on the top of the head.
