A Humpback is Bubble net feeding, showing the expanding throat pleats. Whale barnacles hang from the whale's throat. It is a symbiotic relationship beneficial to the barnacle and harmless to the whale known as commensalism. The whales carry acorn barnacles, particular to the whale type. Coronula diadema barnacles are found on Humpback whales such as this one.
