Coho River JMC_7285SHD
Add to LightboxThe Coho River in the Olympic National Park, Washington, USA is a salmon stream for which it is named after. The cool ice-blue water tumbles northeast off the mountains. Coho and Chinook Salmon and trout migrate up this river to spawn below these falls. Hopefully I will be able to return to witness this. A small population of Coho and Chinook salmon travel the cascades in late summer or early fall. Cutthroat and steelhead trout migrate up the cascades in the spring beginning in March.
