Looking down the snout of an invasive Asian Club Tunicate (Styela clava), which has been covered by the cream-colored Tunicate (Didemnum vexillum). The two syphons, common to tunicates, are seen head on here. Canadians refer to the D. Vex as the pancake batter tunicate. It is unclear who will win this competition, but the D. vex appears to be, and is especially obnoxious.
