Meat Cove on the northern most point of Cape Breton Island is an out-of-the-way destination worth the drive. There is a quiet, small area for tents or small RVs, and a small concession building. We also did a SCUBA dive in the cove and rinsed off in the fresh stream which empties into the cove. It's simply beautiful there.
