A bright yellow Crab Spider Family Thomisidae) makes a colorful image. This may be A Goldenrod Spider (Misumena vatia). I photographed this spider for a while, but it became irritated by my attention. It raised a leg in the air, with a strand of silk at the end, and when the wind was right, it "flew" nearly fifty feet away from me. it was originally on a yellow flower and will take several weeks to change color to match its flower.
