Wolf Eel Turning BCUW©JMC_046JC.
Add to LightboxA very long, blue fish with black dots is called a Pacific Wolf Eel (Anarrhichthys ocellatus). The very long tail of the Pacific Wolf Eel is one of the most obvious differences between it and the Atlantic Wolffish. Otherwise, their body types and habits are similar. Neither is a true eel. They can reach 9 feet in length.
