Striped Bass are curious about divers, wondering what we might stir up which could be edible. I came across a few of these large Bass while they were ripping apart a lobster.
Striped Bass are anadromous fishes. They migrate from the ocean to spawn in the brackish upper reaches of the estuaries and river mouths. Many of the Stiped Bass in New England come from the Chesapeake Bay area, but some spawn in the Connecticut river.
