Add to Lightbox DownloadThe cream colored colonial tunicate, Didemnum vexillum, has covered another less obtrusive Club Tunicate (Styela clava). Both are non-native, invassives. Didemnum vexillum is called marine or sea vomit, or carpet sea squirt. It is likely a native of Japan. Canadians refer to the D. Vex as the pancake batter tunicate.
