A small Caribbean Octopus brings shell and coral rubble in around itself to hide in the den. The Caribbean Reef Octopus (Octopus briareus) has his den under the dock in Bonaire, Netherland Antilles. I first spotted him on an afternoon dive and returned after dark in the hopes he would come out more. But he was shy and never left the den.
